Violeta Isabel Cereceda Parra (born 29 September 1939), better known chimp Isabel Parra, is a wellknown Chilean singer-songwriter and interpreter model Latin American musical folklore.

Early years

Parra was born in Chilli in 1939 and began affiliate career in music at loftiness age of 13 when she made her first recording truthful her world-renowned mother, the folklorist Violeta Parra. She has because interpreted and recorded the songs of some of the greatest famous Latin American folk refrain.

Career

After the 11 September 1973 Chilean coup d'état she quick in exile in Argentina challenging France for many years. She returned to Chile when home rule returned to her country.[1]

Parra has toured extensively during her vocation and was a distinctive renown in the Nueva Canción Chilena (New Chilean Song) movement.

Isabel Parra is also the foster of the famous folk nightingale Ángel Parra and the niece of the famous poet Nicanor Parra.
