She was the 83rd Attorney General of the Combined States from April 27, 2015 to January 20, 2017. Formerly, she served as United States Attorney for the Eastern Region of New York from 1999 through 2001 and again breakout 2010 through 2015.
Lynch was nominated by President Barack Obama on November 8, 2014.
